Life is Better | Watercolor Flowering Frame | Art Impressions

Don’t you feel like sometimes you just need a quick 5 minute project?  Well, I have one for you.  This flowering frame project takes only 6 minutes (ok a little more than 5 minutes…haha).  The best part is you only need one stamp from Art Impressions and two markers.  Come paint with me!!

Life is Better Watercolor Flowering Frame Card:

Step 1 – the frame

Using a rectangle die, I lightly traced the inside of the die with a pencil to create a guideline for my frame.

Step 2 – the flowers

Using the flower stamp from the new flower stamp set from Art Impressions.  I inked it up with African Violet and Olive Green and stamped it several times on the left and right side of the guideline.  I used my palette with African Violet to paint the frame.

Step 3 – finishing details

I used a sentiment from Gina K Designs wreath builder stamp set inked in Versafine black ink and stamped using my MISTI.  I trimmed the painting to 3 5/8 x 5 1/8 and adhered it to a mat that was 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.  This was then adhered to a top folding card base of 4 1/4 x 11.

  1. Tricia,
Love your work. I too love to paint with the AI stamps and am also in the learning stages.
Where do you get the sentiments for your lovely cards?
    Thanks, Ann
