Art Impressions stamps | Watercolor Weekend | Summer Boats

Summer Boats

I love the new Art Impressions stamps. I used the new WC Boat Set and the  WC Foliage Set 3 to create this clean and simple Summer Boats card.

CARD DETAILS

stamped the boat using Sepia. I pulled the color out of the lines and added some Steel Blue from my Watercolor Palette. I masked it off and also masked off an oval on the card.

Summer Boats

I used the Watercolor Palette to lay down Manganese Blue and African Violet to create the water and Tombow Dual Brush Pens Burnt Sienna and Coral to create the sand.

Summer Boats

I used my Stamp Positioner to stamp the small boat in African Violet. I added some English Red to create the lines on the sail.

Summer Boats

I used the grasses from the WC Foliage Set 3 inked in Olive Green stamped above and below the boat. I used some Manganese Blue to create the clouds.

Summer Boats

To finish off, I used my Wink of Stella Glitter Clear Brush Pen – Clear to create a little shimmer. I cut it down and added it to a mat of Gina K Designs Heavyweight Cardstock- Fresh Asparagus.

  1. Again another beautiful card Tricia. Love the colors…We miss your videos…I am so much a see person…have to “see” how the card was made to fully understand how you created it. When your schedule settles down, will you consider doing your videos again??? Your the best!!!
